We presented a two-person, Japanese language version of Yama in Tsuruoka City at Gyokusenji Temple, and in Sakata City at the Honma Museum. Both venues have beautiful traditional gardens which provided the perfect backdrop for the seven stories we performed. One of the stories, The Seven Foxes and the Man with the Tumor on his Cheek, is set in Gyokusenji, so it was an extra-special experience for both us and the audience.
